Maureen O’Sullivan
Founder of MOS Legal Consulting
Maureen O’Sullivan, the principal mentor with MOS Legal Consulting Services, has dedicated her career to immigration law. For more than 40 years, she worked in the immigration field representing individuals, teaching and training law students and lawyers and most recently serving as an Immigration Judge. From 1986-2010, she worked with Kaplan, O’Sullivan and Friedman, a boutique immigration practice in Boston. In addition, she taught immigration and asylum law at several Boston area schools including Northeastern University School of Law, Franklin Pierce School of Law, Boston College Law School and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. In October 2010, she became an Immigration Judge and began hearing cases in the Immigration Court in Los Angeles until February 2015 when she transferred to the Immigration Court in Boston. She presided over cases in Boston and trained many other Immigration Judges until her retirement in April 2025.
